The Natrona County Coroner's Office on Wednesday identified the Casper man killed when a vehicle struck him earlier this week.

According to a statement issued by the office, Kevin W. Dennis, 64, was the pedestrian a vehicle struck at about 9:10 p.m. Monday at the intersection of CY Boulevard and Talon Drive. The office initially withheld his name in keeping with a policy that allows for notification of next of kin before identifying a dead person.

According to a Tuesday morning announcement from police, Casper Fire-EMS reported the man dead after emergency medical services attempted lifesaving measures on him.

A representative for the police department said Tuesday morning that no one else sustained substantial injuries in the collision. On Wednesday morning, the spokeswoman said the agency had no further updates on its investigation.
