Police took four juveniles into custody after responding to a shots-fired call Sunday night in west Casper.

No injuries were reported during the incident, which took place shortly after 8:30 p.m. on the 400 block of Indian Paintbrush Street, police said.

Arriving officers found bullet casings lying in the street and bullet holes on the outside of a home, police said. Investigators identified and found juvenile suspects, police said, along with a handgun that investigators suspect was used in the shooting.

Police spokeswoman Rebekah Ladd said it's not know yet whether the cases will be handled in the adult or juvenile court systems.

The department credited the due-diligence of officers and detectives in finding the suspects.

The investigation is ongoing.
