A man died in an industrial accident Thursday morning, the Natrona County Sheriff's Office said the same day.

Sgt. Aaron Shatto, who also serves as a spokesman for the agency, said the agency responded to a call on North Robertson Road shortly after 8 a.m.

A man was taken from the scene to Wyoming Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The Natrona County Coroner's Office will identify the man after informing his family members, Shatto said.

The sheriff's office is investigating in accordance with a policy requiring it to inquire into all industrial deaths in the county, Shatto said. The agency has determined the death was not the result of criminal activity.
