Alcova Reservoir

Authorities on Thursday pulled the body of a man from Alcova Reservoir after nearly two weeks of searching, the Natrona County Sheriff's Office said Friday.

The man, Timothy Urfer, 48, of Sheridan, had been missing since Sept. 7, when the agency received a report he had fallen from a boat in the Fremont Canyon area.

Search teams over the 12 days used sonar, cadaver dogs and underwater robots in the search. On Thursday morning, searchers found his body in the vicinity of where he had fallen into the water. 

An autopsy will be conducted. The incident remains under investigation.
