CASPER - Keith S. Cooper, 59, took his first steps into heaven after a traumatic brain injury on April 4, 2019 in Pensacola, Florida. Keith was born on March 8, 1960 in Torrington, Wyoming.
Keith went to High School in Torrington, Wyoming and later attended Cheyenne Aero Tech graduating with honors on October 20, 1988. He became employed at Hawkins and Powers in Greybull, Wyoming repairing c-130s used to fight wild fires. After moving to Casper, Wyoming Keith worked with numerous companies repairing airplanes for companies like Fed-Ex and Aero Care.
Keith spent the last few months of his life in Pensacola, Florida where he became acquainted with Heavenly Blessings Ministry. While serving as a cook he was able to share his love of Christ with those he met. Keith had a love of cooking and was able to prepare meals for hundreds of people that stayed at Heavenly Blessings. Keith's family was able to tour the ministry and see the kitchen he prepared meals, and they were able to hear stories from residence that spent time with Keith and shared stories of his constant encouragement, support, and his love of Christ.
Keith was a devoted husband, to his former spouse and later close friend, Cynthia Cooper. He was a doting father to his four daughters, Lacey Bucher, Rachele (Cooper) Boring, Rebekah Cooper, and Danielle Cooper. Later being blessed and becoming a loving Papa to his four granddaughters, LuFate Wharton, Ellouise Wharton, Annette Wharton, and Evolett Boring. He is also survived by his sister, Wanda (Cooper) McLean; niece, Dawn (Rannells) Flohr; and nephew, Joshua Remillong; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, John S. and Donna May (Brown) Cooper; a sister, Darlene (Cooper) Rannells; niece, Melissa Remillong; nephew, Larry Gene Rannells; brother-in-law, Kenneth McLean; and mentor, Max Wilson.
Services for Keith S. Cooper will be held Saturday, April 20 at 3:00pm at Grace Bible Baptist Church in Casper,Wyoming.
