Wyoming hires Parker Executive Search to assist in coaching search

I have learned that the search firm that Wyoming is using in its search for a new men's basketball coach is Parker Executive Search, a high-profile group based out of Atlanta.

You can take a peak at their website here: http://www.parkersearch.com/athletics.html

Parker Executive Search seems to have an extensive resume, which recently includes the hiring of football coach Brian Kelly at Notre Dame, Iowa men's basketball coach Fran McCaffery and NCAA president Mark Emmert -- and many more.

More coincidentally, it's also the firm that helped place Billy Gillispie when he was hired at Kentucky.

Obviously, Gillispie's name has been discussed as a possible candidate for the Wyoming job. My sources indicate he is one of many candidates on an early, long list.

Ultimately, the final decision will be athletics director Tom Burman's hands, but would Parker want to be a part of hiring Gillispie again?

Just another question to add to the list as the process continues...
