The Natrona County School District will not request an exception to the statewide K-12 face mask requirement, despite a survey that found 80 percent of district parents want it eliminated.
Natrona County School District parents and students plan to protest the district's mask requirement after trustees voted not to seek an exception to the Wyoming K-12 mask mandate.
There are no longer any statewide health orders in place related to COVID-19 in Wyoming.
Several far-right lawmakers attended the rally, with Sen. Anthony Bouchard pushing for the use of hydroxychloroquine as a treatment and Sen. Lynn Hutchings arguing parents should decide whether kids wear masks.
A sign posted on the restaurant's door says, in part, "This establishment is NOT following social distancing mandates.”
The plaintiffs include a Cheyenne homeschool mother who was banned from her local library for not wearing a face mask and a person who was kicked out of a recreation center for not wearing a mask.
Wyoming officials will lift the statewide mask requirement next week, as well as restrictions on restaurants, bars, theaters and gyms. Here are some answers about the specifics of these changes.
