A man missing after falling off a boat at Alcova Reservoir is likely dead, authorities say.

The man who went missing at Alcova Reservoir earlier this month is likely dead, according to Natrona County Sheriff's Office spokesman Taylor Courtney. Authorities have not found the man.

Cadaver dogs are now involved in the search, Courtney said. When asked if the man is thought dead, he said, "most likely he's deceased."

The man went missing the evening of Sept. 7 after falling off a boat while fishing near Fremont Canyon. Crews used sonar to search for him.
