Services for Michael Hery Weber, 73, will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2008 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston. Private Cramation to follow.
He was born to Roland Henry and Esther Amelia Martha (Schlicher) Weber on June 3, 1935 in Sheridan County near Hoxie, Kansas.
He died on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Rocky Mountain Care in Evanston, Wyoming.
He was baptized as an infant at Immanuel Lutheran Church near Hoxie, Kansas on June 22, 1935 and was confirmed there also on April 4, 1948.
He lived in and around the surrounding area of Hoxie until his parents moved to his maternal grandparent's farm home when his grandfather passed away and they continued the farm operation.
He graduated from Sheridan Community High School in 1953 and then entered the military during 1955.
He married Jackie Weaver on June 16, 1968. She preceded him in death.

He enjoyed the out of doors, especially fishing. He also attended quite a few of the annual Schlicher Reunions.
He worked in the oil fields for a number of years and then was a long distance truck driver in later years.
He married Leila Jones on October 23, 1976 in Boise, Idaho. He helped Leila raise her daughter Sandra Marie.
He leaves to mourn his wife, Leila. Also surviving are her daughter, Sandra Marie Deaton and a grandson, Ian James Deaton; sisters, Sharon Waters and Marjorie (Leo) Knoll; sister in law, Kay Weber, brother in law, Fred (Cathy) Cressler; nieces and nephews, Trela Waters, Yolanda AlJamaan; Karl Knoll, Katrina (Knoll) Larson, Anne (Weber) and John Rogers; Arminta (Weber) and Howard Culver; Kenneth and Carrie Weber; great nieces and nephews, Chase and Aubrey Larson; Dakota, Cheyenne and Taylor Rogers; Amelia, Anthony and Olivia Culver; and R.J. and Elliot Weber.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Jackie; a sister, Patricia Weber and a brother, Robert.
