CHEYENNE — A Cheyenne pharmacist shot a would-be robber in the chest Saturday after he brandished a toy gun and demanded narcotics.
The Cheyenne Police Department said the shooting happened Saturday morning.
Police said the white male brandished a toy gun that appeared to be a real firearm, demanding narcotics. The 42-year-old pharmacist shot the suspect once in the chest.
He was taken to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center and is listed in stable condition.
The suspect was not immediately identified, and the pharmacist was not named.
