RIVERTON (WNE) — Police on Wednesday said there could be a suspect at large related to an ongoing double homicide investigation in Riverton.

The case was initiated at about 12:35 p.m. last Saturday, when the Riverton Police Department responded to a report that there were two deceased or unresponsive subjects in a residence in the 1100 block of East Main Street.

The RPD released the names of the deceased last Monday: Jocelyn Watt and Rudy Perez, both 30, both of Riverton.

A death notice for Watt indicates she died at her home.

On Wednesday, RPD Capt. Todd Byerly told The Ranger that officials have not eliminated the possibility that a suspect may be on the loose related to the deaths.

He did not provide any additional updates.

The incident is listed as a homicide on RPD reports.

Officials at the Fremont County Coroner's Office said they would not be commenting on the deaths, deferring to the RPD.
