Funnel Cloud

A funnel cloud appears in the sky southwest of Mills as a storm passes through the area in 2014. 

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for eastern Wyoming, along with part of Nebraska and Colorado.

The tornado watch includes Laramie, Goshen and Niobrara counties. It's expected to remain in effect until 10 p.m.

Strong to severe thunderstorms are also forecast for the area, according to the National Weather Service. The storms could produce golf ball-sized hail and strong wind gusts.

A tornado watch signifies that twisters are possible in the area. They are less serious than a tornado warning, which indicates a tornado was sighted or indicated by radar, according to the National Weather Service.
