The Linokol Project in Sweetwater County was recognized for "notable efforts in land and water reclamation." The project was implemented in four phases over a six-year period and was completed in 2013.

Over 320 acres was reclaimed. The reclaimed acreage included four open mine pits, mine spoils, underground mine portals, shafts and sinkholes. More than five miles of degraded mainstream drainage was restored.
