The Cadoma Foundation is grateful for the community support of our “Out of the World” event for the Historic Bishop Home. After a visit at the Historic Bishop Home, guests progressed to the Lyric for a delicious meal from Silver Fox, participants were informed and inspired by the stories of the space program’s accomplishments and the plans for future travel.

The evening grossed over $16,000. After expenses, the foundation will pledge $10,000 in matching funds for the restoration of the Historic Bishop Home's front facade. This project will address the concrete deterioration and improve accessibility to the home — The Cadoma Foundation’s 2019-20 capital construction campaign. The remaining funds will help sustain the home.

The Cadoma Foundation’s mission is to preserve and protect Wyoming’s historic structures. During home tours, visitors learn about the urban history of Casper and the important role that seminal residents and their homes played in the formation of the community. The past thirteen years have been a wonderful journey for the Cadoma Foundation and the Historic Bishop Home. We give our heartfelt thanks to our sponsors who made the event possible. We also thank our many private donors for their financial support and encouragement.

The anniversary of the 1969 lunar landing was July 20. We hope our throwback event helped to make the celebration of this memorable event in our nation’s history even more meaningful!
