Attending events at David Street Station is one of my family’s favorite things to do. With two young boys, I take comfort in being able to let them run and play in the safe environment that David Street Station has created.
When David Street Station was in the construction stages, I knew that it would be a place our family would utilize all the time. Sure enough, once it finally opened, we haven’t been able to stay away. We loved hanging out during the hot summer days near the splash pad and relaxing on the lawn during the Summer Series events. Since we love to be outdoors all year round, the ice-skating rink provided great entertainment when we couldn’t make it up the mountain to ski.
Our out-of-town family enjoys David Street Station so much that we make it a point to attend multiple events while they visit. David Street Station has provided us with so many fun, new memories and we are excited to make more in the years ahead.
There weren’t many things I missed about moving from a large city to Casper, but one was the lack of a community gathering space. Once David Street Station was built, I felt like I had the best of both worlds: a small, close-knit, supportive community and the amenities of a larger city. With so many retailers, restaurants, and other businesses within walking distance of David Street Station, this community gathering space is in the perfect location.
I’ve never seen our downtown more vibrant and we are excited to witness the impact that David Street Station has on Casper’s future.
