Concerning the Wyoming legislature’s recent discussions regarding the repeal of the state’s death penalty, Robert Howard’s letter [Mar. 3], “Homicide is an unforgivable sin according to God’s word,” states, “The death penalty’s the perfect right and obligation of a well ordered democracy, but a government and society, verminous with a corrupt legislature and criminal justice system, orchestrated by bleeding heart liberals, which fails to terminate the life of those guilty of murder stands condemned.”
Murder is certainly the most heinous of crimes, so who authorizes the state to do so? So many persons' ignorance regarding the causal order of the universe, fail to realize that each and every crime committed originates as spiritual injury to a young child, most often at the hands of parents, which establishes a conditioned response which evolves by various pushes and pulls on the person on into adulthood, developed in the ego/Satan as defensive posturing, respondant to various perceived threats from others, reacting out from the original sin. When Jesus said, ”Suffer the little children to come unto me, for such belong in the kingdom of heaven,” he was referring to the non-judging innocence of the very young, who later becomes adulterated by adulterations. This is the basis for, “Thou shalt have no other God’s before me,” which includes everyone. “Judgement is mine, sayeth the Lord.” As well as, “Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.” The list goes on. God is love. Where is love today? In Satan’s hands, thank you! Spirituality realizes one’s judging ego/Satan is the consequence of sin and Robert exemplifies the unforgiven.
The spiritual pathway is a life-long journey into unconditional love for everyone, as God, don’t you see? Everyone is a child of God, messed up by ignorance, prejudice and superstition, known as the arrogance of ignorance Post-it-Note. Jesus bled his heart for you, can’t you see?
