No single person “needs” to be the governor of Wyoming. No one is entitled to the governorship of our beloved State. Rather, Wyoming is deserving of a governor who knows her best and who truly loves her.
Born on a ranch near Fort Laramie, a graduate of Casper College and the University of Wyoming, and an advocate for Wyoming citizens, Harriet Hageman is the governor that Wyoming deserves. More than any other candidate (not just in this election, but in my tenure as a Wyoming voter), Harriet has the experience and knowledge necessary to govern the Great State of Wyoming best.
I encourage each reader to visit Harriet’s campaign website and read her policy positions. There is a reason that Harriet is referred to as the “substantive candidate” -- rather than utilizing platitudes to deliver buzzword policy stances, Harriet has issued detailed positions on a variety of topics, ranging from education spending and health care reform to federal land management and economic diversification.
Harriet’s policy positions are a result of experience. Defending Wyoming families against unelected federal bureaucracies like the BLM and the EPA have molded Harriet’s stance on Wyoming’s water; Harriet’s conversations with individuals all over the state have shaped her stance on elder care; Harriet’s family and love for education has informed her stances on our schools.
Harriet Hageman has taken the time to truly understand Wyoming’s unique needs. I encourage you to take the time to get to know her.
