The Casper College basketball teams spent the majority of January playing on the road. That's all about to change beginning with Saturday's home contests against Little Big Horn College.

The Thunderbirds played six of their first seven Region IX North games away from home, but will play six of their final seven at Swede Erickson T-Bird Gym.

The 19th-ranked women's team (21-2, 7-0) has won 11 in a row, including a 76-63 victory at Gillette College on Wednesday. The streak includes a 114-50 win at Little Big Horn (1-18, 0-7) on Jan. 11.

Lucie Hoskova averages 13.2 points per game to lead a balanced T-Bird attack, with Paula Orenes Sanchez (11.3) and Emily Robertson (10.5) also averaging double-digit points.

The men's team, meanwhile, lost 85-65 at Gillette College and has dropped three of four. The T-Birds (16-7, 4-3) should get back on track Saturday against Little Big Horn (0-20, 0-7), which they defeated 117-47 on Jan. 11.

Antun Maricevic (14.9), Chase Winchester (14.4) and Damian Wilson (10.8) lead the T-Birds in scoring.
