The Casper College basketball teams have their final regular season road games Saturday when they play at Northwest College.

For the 15th-ranked Thunderbirds' women's team (25-2, 11-0 Region IX North), a victory over the Trappers would clinch the sub-region title and mean the T-Birds would host the Region IX tournament next month.

In the teams' earlier meeting, the T-Birds outscored the Trappers 19-5 in the fourth quarter to pull out a 73-60 victory.

Lucie Hoskova leads the team in scoring with 12.4 points per game, followed by Paula Orenes Sanchez at 10.7 and Emily Robertson at 10.1.

The men's team, meanwhile, is coming off back-to-back victories that have the T-Birds (19-8, 7-4) tied with Central Wyoming College for third place in the sub-region with three games remaining.

Antun Maricevic, who was sidelined in the T-Birds' 97-91 victory Wednesday over CWC, leads the team in scoring at 15.0 points per game. Also averaging double-digit points are Nolan Bertain (14.0), Chase Winchester (13.8) and Wilfried Likayi (10.5).
