Casper College men's basketball drops overtime game to Pioneers

The 14th-ranked Casper College men's basketball team lost a late lead in regulation and fell for the second time in four games, falling 115-110 in overtime to Miles Community College on Saturday in Miles City, Montana.

The T-Birds (6-2) got a 3-pointer and two free throws from Jalen Harris to take an 86-81 lead with 24 seconds remaining, but the Pioneers (8-1) tied the game with a triple with 15 seconds to play. Miles then built a 12-point lead in the extra session and held off the T-Birds' final charge.

Harris scored a career-high 32 points to lead Casper College, who also got double-digit scoring from Tavion Robinson (22), Donavan Freeman (18) and David Walker (12). Deondre Northey had 38 to lead the Pioneers.

The T-Birds return home this week to host the annual Thanksgiving Classic beginning Thursday.
