The Casper College women's basketball team plays its first game in nearly a month Monday when it hosts Western Nebraska Community College. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Swede Erickson Thunderbird Gym.

The T-Birds (10-4) closed the first half of the season with a 77-50 victory over the Wyoming All-Stars and have won four of their past five games.

Sophomore Lucie Hoskova leads the T-Birds with 16.7 points and 8.9 rebounds per game. Sophomore Jaye Johnson (Natrona County) is averaging 10.5 points per game, followed by Maggie Justinak (Rock Springs) at 9.0 and Mya Jones at 8.0.

Casper College opens Region IX North play Wednesday when the T-Birds host Central Wyoming College.
