The Casper College women's basketball team isn't ready for its season to end yet. The Thunderbirds (26-6) moved into the semifinals of the Region IX tournament with a 75-49 victory over Otero Junior College at Scottsbluff, Nebraska.

The T-Birds trailed 14-9 after the first quarter, but outscored the Rattlers 50-25 in the second and third quarters combined.

Maggie Justinak (Rock Springs) had a game-high 25 points to lead the way, with Lucie Hoskova adding 22 and Jaye Johnson (Natrona County) adding nine points and eight rebounds.

Casper College will face Northeastern Junior College on Friday in the semifinals. Tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m. The T-Birds and Plainsmen split two games this season.
