The Casper College women's avenged its only loss of the season with an impressive 75-56 victory over Northeastern Junior College on Thursday at Swede Erickson Thunderbird Gym.

The T-Birds (4-1), who dropped a 67-63 decision to NJC five days earlier, were in control from the opening tip Thursday. Casper College led 25-8 after the first quarter and 47-16 at the half.

Lucie Hoskova had 19 points and nine rebounds to lead the T-Birds, with Jaye Johnson (Natrona County) adding 16 points, Mya Jones 11 and Nerea Baena eight.

The T-Birds continue play in the Pizza Hut Invitational against Snow College on Friday and Central Wyoming College on Saturday.
