Casper College women's basketball routs Rocky Mountain College JV

The 18th-ranked Casper College women's basketball team rolled to a 91-22 rout of the Rocky Mountain College JV on Saturday at the Sheridan College Thanksgiving Classic.

The Thunderbirds (10-1) led 25-2 after the first quarter and 44-7 at the half as five players scored in double figures.

Natalia Otkhmezuri had a game-high 16 points, Marija Bakic and Reka Soos had 14 points apiece and Kammie Ragsdale (Pine Bluffs) and Mya Jones both finished with 12 points. Bakic also grabbed 11 rebounds while Nazli Bayazit added seven points, nine rebounds and seven assists.

The T-Birds play at Trinidad (Colo.) State Junior College on Monday.
