The Casper College women's basketball team got back to its winning ways Wednesday, defeating Trinidad State Junior College 81-69 at Trinidad, Colorado.

The T-Birds (7-3) led only 50-45 at the half but outscored the hosts 21-9 in the third quarter to end a two-game losing streak.

Bailey Johnson had 18 points to lead thw way, with Lucie Hoskova pitching in 16 points and eight rebounds. Ashley Tehau (Kaycee) had a career-high 13 points while Maggie Justinak (Rock Springs) added 12 and Nerea Baena 10.

The T-Birds play at Otero Junior College on Thursday.
