The 15th-ranked Casper College women's basketball team won its 15th consecutive game Wednesday, routing Central Wyoming College 96-44.

The Thunderbirds (25-2, 11-0 Region IX North) got strong contributions from their reserves as Mya Jones, Caroline Rivera and Nerea Baena all finished with double-digit points off the bench. Jones led the way with a game-high 23 points to go with 10 rebounds while Rivera and Baena each scored 14. Leading scorer Lucie Hoskova had 12 points.

Jones, Rivera and Baena were a combined 19-of-27 from the field as the T-Birds shot 52.2 percent as a team while limiting the Rustlers to 33.3 percent shooting.

Casper College can clinch the sub-region title and the right to host the upcoming Region IX tournament Saturday when it plays at Northwest College.
