25th-ranked Casper College men's basketball team improves to 8-2

Five players finished with double-digit points to lead the No. 25 Casper College men's basketball team to an 83-75 victory over McCook Community College at the Thanksgiving Classic on Friday in Casper.

David Walker scored a game-high 25 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Thunderbirds (8-2) while Philip Pepple Jr. had a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds to go along with four blocked shots. Isaiah Banks added 16 points and five boards, Donavan Freeman pitched in 11 points and Jalen Harris had 10 points.

The T-Birds finished their three-game homestand against Dakota College at Bottineau on Saturday before hitting the road next weekend to face the University of Providence JV and Lake Region State College. Both games will be played in Gillette.
