Nick Roach pitched seven strong innings to help the Casper Horseheads snap a four-game losing streak with a 7-2 Expedition League victory over the Spearfish Sasquatch on Sunday in Spearfish, South Dakota.

Roach (4-0) allowed just three hits and two earned runs while striking out 10 to win his second straight decision and lower his ERA to 3.68.

Jake Brown hit a solo home run in the third and added an RBI double in the sixth to pace the Casper offense. Jackson Collins had an RBI single and Mitchell Hulse drove in a run with a bases-loaded walk as part of the Horseheads' three-run sixth.

Casper (15-16) returns home Monday to begin an eight-game homestand. The Horseheads will take on the Badlands Big Sticks for a four-game set followed by a doubleheader against the Western Nebraska Pioneers on Friday before finishing with a two-game series against the Souris Valley Sabre Dogs.
