Casper Horseheads

The Casper Horseheads' road struggles continued Wednesday in an 18-7 loss to the Fremont Moo in Fremont, Nebraska.

Casper starting pitcher Daniel Zaldivar allowed 10 hits and four earned runs in just four innings, and relievers Robert Meadows, Michael Altman and Kyler Harris didn't fare much better. Meadows gave up six earned runs in just two innings and Altman allowed four earned runs in just one inning of work. Harris gave up two runs in one inning, although neither was earned.

Robert Cruz was the lone bright spot for the Horseheads' offense, giving Casper (19-24) a 4-3 lead in the third with a grand slam. He finished 2-for-3 with five RBI.
