Kansas State junior Lauren Taubert had a solid weekend at the Big XII Outdoor Track & Field Championships over the weekend in Norman, Oklahoma.
Taubert, a Natrona County High School graduate, started her weekend with a runner-up finish in the heptathlon in which she set a personal record with 5,770 points. Taubert is now seventh in the NCAA rankings and has earned a spot in the NCAA Championships on June 5-8 in Austin, Texas.
