Nick Roach won his third consecutive decision and Jake Brown hit two solo home runs to lead the Casper Horseheads to a 10-5 victory over the Souris Valley Sabre Dogs on Sunday at Mike Lansing Field.

Roach allowed just five hits and one earned run over seven innings to improve to 5-0 on the season. The Vacaville, California, native lowered his ERA to 3.29 and leads the Expedition League with 64 strikeouts.

He got all the offensive support he needed in the third inning when the Horseheads (19-22) scored five runs, all with two outs. Mitchell Hulse capped the rally with a two-run single.

Roberto Diaz, Derek Almanza, Nick Iwasa, Austin Shadbolt and Payton Flynn also had one RBI each.

Casper, which finished 4-4 on the homestand, begins a nine-game road swing Tuesday in Fremont, Nebraska, against the Fremont Moo.
