The University of Wyoming track and field teams returned off a six-week break on Saturday to win seven events and place 17 top-three finishers at the NDSU Team Challenge in Fargo, North Dakota. Both Cowboys and Cowgirls placed third behind hosting North Dakota State and Northern Iowa.

Senior Jerayah Davis won both 60 and 200 before placing second in the long jump. Cowgirl senior Ja'la Henderson took first in the long jump and triple jump. Senior Bryce Ailshie won the 800 and sophomore William Nolan won both long jump and triple jump for the Cowboys.

Both track and field teams next host the Powder River Dual in Gillette on January 26.
