University of Wyoming sophomore Montorie Bridges finished second at the Big 12 Wrestling Championships on Sunday in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Competing at 133 pounds, Bridges dropped a 4-2 decision to top-ranked Daton Fix from Oklahoma State. By finishing second, Bridges qualified for the NCAA Championships later this month in Pittsburgh. Bridges earned All-America honors last season.

Also gaining automatic qualifications to the NCAA Championships for the Cowboys were Branson Ashworth (4th at 165), Brian Andrews (4th at heavyweight) and Sam Turner (7th at 141).
