University of Wyoming senior Ja'la Henderson broke her own school record in the triple jump at the Texas Tech Shootout on Friday in Lubbock, Texas.

Henderson finished third overall with her leap of 43 feet, 9.75 inches, which is the fifth-best mark in Mountain West history.

Also for UW, Hap Frketich won the weight throw with a toss of 63-11 and Bryce Ailshie was fifth in the 800. For the Cowgirls, Jerayah Davis (Kelly Walsh) finished third in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.34 seconds and Jasmyne Cooper was fourth in the 800.

Also Friday, at the Husky Shootout in Seattle, Washington, Paul Roberts took over the No. 2 mark in program history in the 5,000 with a time of 14:04.12 to place 25th.
