FOURTH QUARTER: Fresno State 27, Wyoming 3

Fresno threatens to add on with a drive to Wyoming's 1, but Cassh Maluia breaks up McMaryion's fourth-down pass in the end zone to give the ball to the Cowboys' offense with 9:11 left. Jordan Mims' touchdown catch was overturned upon review a play earlier.

THIRD QUARTER: Fresno State 27, Wyoming 3

Fresno gets near midfield on McMaryion's 22-yard completion to Rice, but the drive stalls after that. Wyoming takes over for the first time in the second half at its own 14.

Wyoming goes three and out, setting up Fresno at the Cowboys' 47 after Dontae Crow's 46-yard punt. The Bulldogs pad their lead six plays later on McMaryion's 3-yard touchdown pass to David Tangipa. A 25-yard completion to Jamire Jordan the play before helped get the Bulldogs close. Fresno State 20, Wyoming 3 (9:20)

Wyoming gets out of the shadow of its own goal line with Vander Waal's 21-yard completion to Rocket Ismail Jr. -- the Cowboys' longest play of the night -- but ends up punting for the sixth straight possession.

Fresno goes 85 yards in just six plays for its third touchdown in its last four possessions. This one comes on the feet of McMaryion, who beats Logan Wilson and Tyler Hall around the left end for a 6-yard score. Fresno State 27, Wyoming 3 (3:11)

SECOND QUARTER: Fresno State 13, Wyoming 3

A 12-yard run by Evans and back-to-back keepers by Vander Waal help move Wyoming to midfield, but Fresno blows up a screen to Evans to put the Cowboys behind the chains and effectively kill the drive. Three straight punts for Wyoming since its opening possession.

Marcus McMaryion moves Fresno into Wyoming territory with a 26-yard keeper on third and short, but Rice is called for offensive pass interference on the next play to back the Bulldogs up out of field-goal range. Cusick punts and pins Wyoming at its own 8.

Wyoming goes three and out after Vander Waal can't connect with James Price on third down. Fresno starts its next drive near midfield.

McMaryion caps a 12-play, 46-yard scoring drive for Fresno with a 1-yard sneak on fourth-and-goal to pad the Bulldogs' lead late in the quarter. Fresno State 13, Wyoming 3 (0:52)

Price can't haul in a well-placed pass by Vander Waal deep down the sideline near the end of the half. The teams go to halftime with Fresno holding the 10-point lead.

FIRST QUARTER: Fresno State 6, Wyoming 3

Wyoming starts on offense and picks up three straight first downs to get into Fresno State territory. Tyler Vander Waal's first third-down pass is complete to Ayden Eberhardt but a couple yards short of a first down at Fresno's 28-yard line. Cooper Rothe kicks a 44-yard field goal to give the Cowboys the early lead. Wyoming 3, Fresno State (11:14)

Wyoming's defense starts with a three-and-out.

The Cowboys go three and out after Vander Waal's first incompletion of the night on third down. Dontae Crow punts it off the side of his foot from his own end zone, giving Fresno the ball at Wyoming's 35.

Fresno takes the lead two plays later on Marcus McMaryion's 35-yard touchdown pass to tight end Jared Rice, who was left wide open down the middle of the field. The extra point is no good. Fresno State 6, Wyoming 3 (7:05)

Vander Waal goes to Ismail on third and 4, but Ismail can't hold on. Wyoming goes three and out again with Fresno starting its next drive at its own 40.

Wyoming limits Fresno to one first down on its next possession, but Fresno punter Blake Cusick pins the Cowboys at their own 1 to begin their next drive.

Wyoming picks up one first down before being forced to punt, but Fresno jumps offside to give the Cowboys a fresh set of downs. Wyoming will continue the drive at its own 24 to start the second quarter.
