Wyoming's football game against Louisiana next season is official.

The school has announced a home-and-home series with Louisiana that will begin with a matchup on Sept. 12, 2020 in Lafayette, Louisiana. The Ragin' Cajuns will make the return trip to Laramie in 2026.

UW athletic director Tom Burman told the Star-Tribune last week the schools were working to finalize a contract that would help round out Wyoming's non-conferenc schedule next season. The Cowboys were originally scheduled to play Big 12 member Texas Tech next season, but that game has been postponed until the 2028 season.
