LARAMIE — The Wyoming football team announced its schedule for the 2018 season on Thursday, as did the Mountain West Conference. The Cowboys host Pac-12 team Washington State, Wofford, Boise State, Utah State, San Jose State and Air Force.
The schedule begins in August with a game at New Mexico State and includes two bye weeks. Wyoming also plays at Southeastern Conference team Missouri, Hawaii, Fresno State, Colorado State and New Mexico. Four of Wyoming's opponents played in a postseason game last season.
Wyoming's first bye is Sept. 22, separating the Cowboys' nonconference and conference schedules. The second is Nov. 10, preceding the team's final two regular-season games. Wyoming's homecoming game will be Oct. 20 against Utah State.
CBS Sports Network and ESPN have the option to pick up games and shift game dates to Thursdays or Fridays. The remaining games will be aired on regional partners AT&T SportsNet, Stadium or Spectrum Sports (Hawaii).
