Wyoming vs Fort Lewis Basketball

Former Wyoming star Josh Adams dunks against Fort Lewis during an exhibition game in 2015 at the Arena-Auditorium in Laramie.

Former Wyoming standout Josh Adams notched his second consecutive double-digit scoring effort Friday in the NBA Summer League, posting 21 points in 26 minutes as the Dallas Mavericks beat the Washington Wizards 96-92. Both those statistics tied for team highs.

Adams shot 6-of-12 from the field, 3-of-4 from 3-point range, and had a rebound, two assists, three turnovers and three fouls.

Former Cowboy Alan Herndon, a member of Washington's Summer League team, did not play in the game, which was played in Las Vegas. The meeting was a consolation game that ended both squads' Summer League seasons.

Wyoming's other Summer League player, Hayden Dalton, scored six points and grabbed five rebounds in 18 minutes for the Denver Nuggets in their 83-71 loss to Minnesota.
