The University of Wyoming wrestling team had a strong showing at the Cowboy Open on Saturday in Laramie, with seven Cowboys winning individual titles.

Seven of the titles came in the Elite division while two won Amateur division championships.

Returning All-American Montorie Bridges got things started by going 4-0 at 133 pounds. He was followed by returning NCAA qualifier Sam Turner, who won the 141-pound title.

Other Cowboys winning individual crowns were: Jaron Jensen at 149, Dewey Krueger at 157, returning NCAA qualifier Branson Ashworth at 165, Hayden Hastings (Sheridan) at 174 and Cale Davidson at 197.

In the Amateur division, Cole Moody won at 174 and was named Most Outstanding Wrestler for the division. The other title in the division went to Tate Samuelson at 184.
