University of Wyoming juniors Paul Roberts, Christopher Henry and Harry Ewing all finished in the top 25 at Friday's 2018 NCAA Mountain Region Championships, giving each one all-region honors. That is the first time in program history the Cowboys have had three all-region runners.

As a team the Cowboys finished sixth with 149 points. That tied the program's best-ever finish at the NCAA regional meet.

Roberts led the Cowboys by finishing 11th overall in a time of 29:27.4. That is the fastest time ever by a Cowboy at the Mountain Regional and second-fastest 10K time since the program began keeping record in 1990. Henry finished 17th and Ewing placed 21st.

The Cowboys' result may have been good enough to qualify for the NCAA National Championships. They'll know for sure when the official announcement is made at 3 p.m. on Saturday.

The Cowgirls finished 12th as a team.
