Before joining the University of Wyoming women's basketball team in off-season preparations, the two remaining Cowgirls in contention at the FIBA U20 Women's European Championship continued group play on Thursday.

Wyoming junior Selale Kepenc and Turkey fell to Bulgaria with a 54-52 loss. Kepenc finished with three points and five rebounds in just over 19 minutes.

Incoming freshman Tereza Vitulova played 28 minutes of the Czech Republic's 67-63 victory over Denmark. Vitulova finished with 10 points, four rebounds and two steals.

Vitulova and the Czech Republic qualified for the semifinals through pool play and will meet host Romania on Friday. Kepenc and Turkey will compete in the consolation bracket, beginning with a game against Ukraine on Friday.
