Former Wyoming forward Bailee Cotton looks to pass the ball during the Cowgirls' WNIT game against Pepperdine on March 28 at the Arena-Auditorium in Laramie.

University of Wyoming graduate Bailee Cotton has signed a professional contract to play basketball at BK LOKO Trutnov in the Czech Republic. Koyer Management announced the signing late Tuesday.

Cotton finished 13th all-time in Cowgirls history with 741 rebounds and placed in the top 20 in both blocked shots (No. 13 with 62) and steals (No. 18 with 118).

She capped her standout career as the Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year last season, helping the Cowgirls make the Mountain West Tournament Championship game for the first time in program history.

The Denver native started 10 games as a freshman before suffering a season-ending knee injury.

She returned only for her sophomore season to be cut short by another knee injury, however she did receive a medical redshirt for that season.

Cotton started in 31 of 32 games the next season, reclaiming her place in the Cowgirls’ lineup.

Cotton finished as a four-time all-conference scholar-athlete and a two-time Mountain West All-Defensive team selection.
