The University of Wyoming women's basketball team will be looking to extend its winning streak to six games when it hosts Utah State at the Arena-Auditorium on Wednesday.

The Cowgirls (14-5, 7-3 Mountain West) are coming off a 60-49 victory at Colorado State on Saturday. UW is currently fourth in the league standings, one-half game back of Fresno State.

Seniors Marta Gomez and Bailee Cotton continue to lead the Cowgirls, with Gomez averaging 15.5 points per game and Cotton 11.4 points to go along with a team-best 8.9 rebounds per game. Junior Taylor Rusk averages 10.4 ppg while freshman Karla Erjavec is at 9.2 ppg.

Wyoming, which dropped a 50-42 decision at Utah State on Jan. 9, is 9-1 at home this season. The Aggies (10-12, 5-6 MW) have lost five games in a row.
