The Wyoming women's basketball team were outscored 16-8 in the fourth quarter Saturday and dropped a 50-42 decision to Utah State at Logan, Utah.

The Cowgirls (9-4, 2-2 Mountain West) struggled offensively, shooting just 32.7 percent from the field (16 of 49) and making just 4 of 21 3-pointers.

Freshman Karla Erjavec (14) and senior Marta Gomez (11) were the only UW players to finish with double-digit points. Senior Bailee Cotton had only five points but did grab a team-high 11 rebounds.

The Cowgirls return home for their next game when they host New Mexico next Saturday at the Arena Auditorium.
