Seeding in the Mountain West Conference volleyball tournament isn't all that's at stake when the University of Wyoming finishes its road schedule this weekend.

The Cowgirls (17-9, 9-5 MW) open the road swing Thursday at Boise State (16-9, 8-6). Wyoming is tied with UNLV for third in the conference right now, 1.5 games behind Fresno State and a full 3 games behind leading Colorado State.

Wyoming comes into the weekend off a victory against Air Force in which junior Halie McArdle tallied a career-high 22 kills and senior Emily Lewis added 19.

The Cowgirls are 14-11 all-time against the Broncos and winners of the last three, including a four-set win in Laramie earlier this season.

Wyoming plays at Utah State on Saturday.
