University of Wyoming sophomore Christopher Henry was named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District first team for men's cross country and track and field on Tuesday.

Henry, a graduate of Laramie High School, has a 4.0 GPA in molecular biology and physiology.

The award caps a tremendous season for Henry. He was an All-Region and All-Mountain West selection in cross country and earned All-MW honors in both the indoor and outdoor track seasons. He also set a program record in the 3,000-meter run during the indoor season with a time of 8 minutes, 5.88 seconds.

Henry is now eligible for Google Cloud Academic All-America honors, which will be announced next month.
