The University of Wyoming distance runners will compete in the Husky Classic in Seattle on Friday. The event features many of the premiere distance runners in the country.

The Cowboys had a solid showing at the Colorado Open last weekend, led by sophomore Christopher Henry (Laramie), who set a school record in the 3,000-meter run. Henry, along with junior Paul Roberts, will compete in the 5,000 in Seattle.

Also in attendance for UW will be junior Daniel Hintz in the mile; and junior Michael Downey (Cheyenne East), sophomore Harry Ewing and senior Jonah Henry (Laramie) in the 3,000.

A number of other Wyoming competitors will be in Lubbock, Texas, for the Texas Tech Shootout.
