The University of Wyoming men's golf team concluded its impressive week-long run with a third-place finish at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational on Tuesday in Erie, Colorado.
The Cowboys shot a 20-under 844 to finish 15 strokes back of host Colorado and six back of Grand Canyon College.

Wyoming junior Carl Underwood placed fourth with an 11-under 205 (71-66-68) just one stroke back of the winners. Also for UW, Bryce Waters shot a 6-under 210, Kirby Coe-Kirkham (Sheridan) a 3-under 213, Tyler Severin an even par 216 and Dan Starzinski an 11-over 227.
The Cowboys will complete their fall schedule when they play in the Ka’anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational in Maui on Nov. 1-3.
