University of Wyoming senior Ja'la Henderson will compete Saturday at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Birmingham, Alabama.

Henderson is one of 16 triple jumpers who will compete in the event, which begins at 2:30 p.m. MT. Henderson won the Mountain West indoor title this year with a jump of 42 feet, 8.25 inches. It was the second year in a row she won the event.

Henderson, who holds school marks in both the triple jump and the long jump, earned All-America status last spring by finishing 15th at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
