The Wyoming soccer team allowed two first-half goals and were unable to rally in a 3-2 loss to Air Force on Friday in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The Falcons (7-2-1, 2-1-0 Mountain West) jumped out to the early lead with goals in the 25th and 30th minutes, respectively.

The Cowgirls (4-4-3, 1-2-0 MW) struck first in the second half when Summer Taube scored off an assist from Jamie Tatum in the 51st minute. But Air Force's Lexi Romero netted her ninth goal of the season in the 86th to effectively put the game away. Tatum scored in the final seconds for UW.

The Cowgirls return to action Sunday when they take on Colorado College in Colorado Springs.
